What's the history behind designed2worship? Glad you asked! In 1999, Victory Churches International commissioned a ministry devoted to a) establishing a worship training organization to train up worship teams and leaders for the Victory Churches being planted in Canada, and b), to produce a Praise and Worship CDs with original songs written, performed and produced by Victory artists. Victory Worship Arts was born. As a result of "Plan A", the very first worship conference was held at the Victory Bible College in Calgary in the summer of 2000. This conference continued to 2003, when it was re-named "designed2worship". The main venue also shifted to Edmonton, Alberta. IN 2009r, VWA celebrated its tenth anniversary conference back where it all started, at VBCI in Calgary.
