Worshipers who were yearning for more of God’s awesome presence assembled in one of the most momentous events in the history of Victory Churches of Asia, Philippines.
The two-day worship symposium entitled “It’s Time” was preceded by the anointed Designed2Worship team (D2W) led by Pastors Paul Militsala, Maria Collett, Dayle Binet, Charlotte Quist, Simon Steele, Don Heywood Noel Wadson, and Ashley Militsala and Glenys Wadson of VCI Canada.  The symposium was held on the 24th and 26th of October, 2009. Intended to equip and rekindle the fire of every musician, singer, worship leader, and people who are longing for more of God’s touch, the team came all the way to the Philippines, bringing fresh revelations and impartation of God’s calling to worship, for such a time as this. It was indeed a well-attended event by different churches and international counterparts of VCA.

The first day of the event commenced with an exuberant and deifying praise and worship, followed by an exposition of different dances, presentations, and extravagant pageantry - all for the glory and exultation of the King and kings. Subsequently, teachings and exhortations from the guest pastors inspired and opened the hearts of every worship minister and non-worker alike to a new level of reverence, accountability, and service.

The D2W team proffered an open dialogue by answering queries from the congregation, paving the way to a clearer picture of technical concerns and deeper teachings of a world of worship.

Day 2 was even more intimate and intensified as the team grouped themselves into different areas of concerns dealing with the different gifts and skills that many Philippine delegates said was very beneficial and significant to both their personal, and conjoint worship, as well as their service to the Lord.
Lory Pomarin, musical director of VCA Fairview, Philippines expressed her excitement over the event stating that she expects the fire will continue to spread not only to VCA Philippines, but also to all the churches of the Philippines. “This symposium reminded me to push harder and inspire our team to reach for more. We are encouraged to share that what we received from this will not remain in only in our hearts, but should be imparted to our brethren and the next generation to come.”

When God sends His fire to passionate worshipers there’s nothing that can quench the Spirit and withhold the power that God is unleashing in His time. That is what VCA Philippines is expecting for the next worship symposium.
